What you will do

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned portfolio of elected officials and senior staff.
• Build relationships with creators, podcast hosts, YouTube producers, and other modern media personalities.
• Secure long-form and short-form media appearances for elected officials on social and streaming platforms.
• Create tailored strategies to improve officials' digital communications and online presence.
• Monitor news for rapid-response pitching opportunities and build database of media entities.
• Develop tracking systems and benchmarks for success with VP of Political Strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years for Director or 8+ for Senior Director in electoral politics, government, or issue advocacy; senior campaign roles preferred.
• Experience managing digital media partnerships strongly preferred.
• Voracious consumer of digital content across platforms.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle projects on tight timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and political judgment for stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to positive team environment and skill development.
