AV Support Technician

TL;DR

AV Support Technician (Federal IT): Support Audio Video, Move, and LRA duties at DISA Global with an accent on maintaining high system availability, vulnerability mitigation, and quality customer experience. Focus on provisioning user accounts, resolving escalated service tickets, providing Level-2/3 troubleshooting, end-user desk setups, and command-level AV support for meetings and conferences.

Location: Scott AFB, IL 62225 (onsite, 0600-1530 Monday-Friday). Requires Secret security clearance with Top-Secret eligibility.

Pay: $50,000-$55,000

What you will do

• Provision user accounts and provide Alt Token and SIPR Token LRA support.
• Work with Global Service Desk to resolve, track, and manage open service tickets using BMC ITSM Remedy v9.1 and ServiceNow ITSM+.
• Deliver Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
• Handle end-user desk setups, cube moves, and furniture rearrangements.
• Provide command-level AV support, including running DCS and GVS meetings, configuring M365 Teams, and setting up rooms for meetings, conferences, town halls, and training (phones, VTC, audio, network).
• Participate in biweekly Change Advisory Board, weekly teleconferences, incident escalation, network security investigations, and documentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Windows 11 support and technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office 365 applications and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
• Experience in large teams, following processes, security guidelines, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds of equipment.
• Secret Clearance with Top-Secret eligibility required.
