A stealth-stage mobility startup led by a repeat founder, currently raising a pre-seed round.

What you will do

• Design and own end-to-end data architecture including ingestion, storage, transformation, and serving layers.
• Build AI-powered systems for matching algorithms, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and route optimisation.
• Lead full-stack development of the platform and maintain high engineering standards.
• Drive the ML/AI roadmap from early experimentation through to production at scale.
• Architect backend systems for reliability and scalability to handle growing transaction volumes.
• Partner with the CEO on fundraising, due diligence, and investor conversations.

Requirements

• 3+ years in engineering leadership or senior tech lead roles, ideally at a fast-moving startup or scale-up.
• Strong background in data architecture and engineering: pipelines, warehousing, and real-time streaming.
• Hands-on experience with ML/AI systems in production.
• Solid full-stack fundamentals, comfortable working across the entire stack.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Based in Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with logistics, marketplace, or two-sided platform products.
• Cloud-native architecture experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Additional European languages, especially German.
