TL;DR
Test Technician (Underwater Robotics): Testing and repairing main assemblies and sub-assemblies including PCBs to correct test procedures with an accent on quality standards and delivery schedules. Focus on maintaining test equipment, interpreting electrical drawings, performing soldering and crimping, and supporting continual improvement processes.

What you will do
- Test and repair products as prioritised by the team leader.
- Maintain and update test procedures and build documentation.
- Test and repair PCBs and assemblies to quality standards.
- Maintain, repair, and help design company test equipment.
- Highlight build or design faults and raise change requests for improvements.
- Support team training by sharing knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale production with electro-mechanical assembly and repairs.
- Formal qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing practices (IPC or equivalent).
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Competence in soldering, electrical looming, crimp tools, fibre optic termination, and 3-phase testing.
- Consent to workforce screening including security checks and verification of working rights.
