DMFI Risk Associate

TL;DR

DMFI Risk Associate (FX/Rates): Partner with APAC Portfolio Management teams to analyze and manage portfolio risk across Rates, FX, Equities, and Commodities with an accent on calibrating risk guidelines and resolving exposures. Focus on conducting detailed trade-level analysis, presenting risk assessments to senior management, and developing reports for the risk team.

What you will do

• Partner with APAC Portfolio Management teams to understand and analyze portfolio risk
• Calibrate and manage risk guidelines for multiple teams, aligning with firm-wide risk appetite
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to resolve risk discrepancies and exposures
• Conduct detailed portfolio and trade-level analysis across Rates, FX, Equities, and Commodities
• Present risk assessments to senior risk and management
• Maintain proactive view of risk environment and develop reports for risk team and portfolio management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in trading, quantitative analysis, or market risk at buy-side or sell-side institution
• Deep knowledge of FX and Rates (preference for EM specific experience)
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a global team
• Strong communication skills to present complex risk concepts to senior management
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Physics)
