What you will do

• Implement processes for the design and testing of SiL and HiL benches for machine level integration testing.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, perform regression testing, and troubleshoot new software features.
• Maintain version control and documentation for test infrastructure, including Matlab models and ControlDesk layouts.
• Develop automated test scripts in both HiL and SiL environments to improve testing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety requirements and ISO 9001 through rigorous documentation and analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams to design next-generation HiL benches.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE test equipment (ControlDesk, Automation Desk) and Opal.
• Proficiency in Python (PyTest) and C/C++ for test script automation.
• Expert knowledge of datalink protocols including CAN, J1939, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and LIN.
• Experience with CAN-based data acquisition tools such as Vector CANape and CANalyzer.
• Must be located in or be able to relocate to the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with software version control tools like Git and Ivy.
• Experience with SIL and Googletest.
• Knowledge of Dynasty for closed-loop testing.
• Deep understanding of the embedded software development cycle.
