What you will do

• Manage 100+ commerce and payment services in AWS to ensure availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate configuration and ongoing operations of AWS managed services.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using DataDog, CloudWatch, or Splunk to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
• Collaborate with SRE teams specializing in data services and hosting to optimize application performance across the PlayStation backend.
• Lead performance and capacity validation using spot instances, dynamic auto-scaling, and EKS.
• Provide rotational on-call support and conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in high-volume software or systems engineering (Java or C++ services).
• 7+ years of hands-on AWS experience integrating and managing applications.
• 5+ years of experience building operational automation using Python or Go.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticache) and networking (ALB, R53, API-Gateway, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, Fargate), and CI/CD pipelines.
