What you will do

• Manage multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Lead mechanical design for healthcare facilities, including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and design for piping, ductwork, and controls.
• Utilize Revit to create 3D models, families, schedules, and system layouts.
• Review project submittals and conduct construction administration trips to ensure project compliance.
• Coach and support new engineers in developing their technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Revit to produce building construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and mechanical engineering principles in building construction.
• Experience in the design of commercial, educational, and manufacturing buildings.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA 99, and Tennessee Building Codes.
• Ability to effectively communicate with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Must be able to work on-site in Nashville, TN.
