What you will do

• Author and maintain underwriting guidelines and related materials for proprietary loan programs.
• Conduct guideline gap analyses to develop new products and identify marketplace opportunities.
• Coordinate the guideline update process with pricing and product development to ensure timely deployment.
• Ensure consistency of guidelines across multiple origination channels.
• Deliver credit training for new product rollouts and guideline updates.
• Resolve ambiguities in guidelines by collaborating with scenario, exception, and post-closing teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry or a related field.
• Proven experience drafting mortgage underwriting guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Non-QM mortgages.
• Experience with Encompass software.
