What you will do

• Develop technical skills and knowledge under the supervision of licensed professional engineers.
• Perform photometrics and utilize software to create preliminary lighting layouts.
• Design the layout of equipment including lighting, fire alarms, and receptacles to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to coordinate power requirements for specialized equipment.
• Assist in the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and designs.
• Use computer-aided engineering and design software to produce professional engineering documents.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Antonio, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
