Location: Remote (US-based, offices in Livonia and Farmington Hills, Michigan; Columbus, Ohio)
Salary: $21.52-$32.28 (hourly)

What you will do
- Research, collect, and analyze data to identify opportunities and develop solutions for operational efficiency.
- Audit department information, produce reports, and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 documentation for patient billing and educate colleagues on proper coding.
- Perform charge entry, approvals, quality reviews, and reconciliation for assigned departments.
- Review quality reports for missing/duplicate/late charges and support denial reviews with root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on system changes and provide feedback on charge deficiencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in hospital/physician practice revenue cycle, billing, coding, or patient financial services; charge capture preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, data entry, supply chain, revenue cycle processes, and regulatory billing guidelines.
- Rotating weekend schedule (every 6th weekend).
- Must comply with US federal/state laws, policies, and work authorization requirements.
Nice to have
- Coding credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, AAPC) or LVN/LPN licensure.
- CHC or CHRI certification/membership.
