What you will do

• Architect and automate database platform provisioning, configuration, monitoring, issue remediation, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex database systems using expert knowledge.
• Establish and maintain best practices for code quality, deployment, security, architecture, and automation.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to achieve engineering project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years engineering database engines (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake).
• 10+ years programming Python and/or PowerShell.
• 7+ years with cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, RDS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• 8+ years SQL/NoSQL and configuration management/IaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• 5+ years with containerized platforms; expert in CI/CD, SDLC, Kafka, REST APIs.
• Excellent communication skills for complex concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with object-oriented languages (C#, Java, C++).
