Salary: $140K – $210K

What you will do
- Develop intelligent systems using LLMs, NLP, and heuristics to streamline bookkeeping, inbox triage, and financial workflows.
- Build and ship AI-powered features for receipt parsing, transaction categorization, and conversational AI.
- Establish early foundations for evaluation pipelines, prompt management, and feedback loops to improve LLM performance.
- Architect and scale hybrid AI + rule-based systems for automated bookkeeping and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure AI features are reliable, intuitive, and helpful.
- Contribute to long-term AI strategy regarding automation confidence and human-in-the-loop systems.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping ML/AI-driven features in a production environment.
- Ability to apply language models to real-world, unstructured, and complex datasets.
- Pragmatic approach to AI implementation, knowing when to use LLMs versus regular expressions or user input.
- Must be based in the US (implied by US-specific benefits and listed US cities).
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, or fine-tuning.
- Background in products involving finance, transactions, document processing, or communications tooling.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Python-based ML tooling such as LangChain, OpenAI SDK, and Pinecone.
