What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of production ML models powering predictive and conversational AI experiences.
• Architect frameworks to extract insights from voice, text, and behavioral data using NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI.
• Drive the experimentation roadmap, including A/B testing and behavioral studies, to ensure data-backed product decisions.
• Define evaluation standards, performance baselines, and monitoring frameworks for generative and predictive features.
• Scale and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, fostering a culture of ownership and analytical rigor.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define technical success metrics that translate into business ROI.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary data science or analytics teams.
• Hands-on experience building and evaluating predictive AI systems in voice or text-based products.
• Strong command of Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generative AI applications in customer experience or agentic workflow design.
• Experience with next-best-action, recommendation, or real-time intervention modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and distributed technologies like Spark or Databricks.
• Background in EdTech or higher education industries.
