Senior Manager, Apparel and Accessories Product Development (F1 Apparel)

What you will do

• Lead apparel and accessories product development from costing and materials selection through sampling, approvals, and production.
• Negotiate costs, minimum order quantities, timelines, and other commercial terms with domestic, international, and local factories and vendors.
• Build and maintain BOMs, technical packages, cost sheets, WIP reports, development schedules, and pre-production tracking.
• Review prototypes for quality, brand aesthetic, design intent, and compliance with line plans.
• Partner with the Creative Director on seasonal concepts, color palettes, and materials.
• Travel to factories to oversee manufacturing quality control and audit-policy compliance.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in product development, design, or production in garment manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of raw materials, garment construction, and communication with domestic and international manufacturers.
• Experience creating annual development schedules and keeping development milestones on track.
• Leadership and supervision experience, including guiding peers and teams through the development process.
• Familiarity with a PLM system; proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to travel 50% and work occasional evening and weekend events.

• Established relationships with apparel manufacturers and the ability to recommend new suppliers.
• Experience demonstrating costing capabilities through a costing exercise.
