Salary: $146,000 – $204,500

What you will do

• Own, design, and implement medium-to-large scale services, API designs, and data modeling for highly available travel platforms.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code across the full SDLC, including unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional engineering teams to decompose complex business problems into technical solutions.
• Drive operational excellence by defining SLIs/SLOs and implementing robust monitoring and incident response practices.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve delivery outcomes and engineering workflows.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to shared engineering standards and reusable components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional experience building and operating backend or full-stack services in production.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, RESTful API design, and distributed system design.
• Experience owning the full lifecycle of a service, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.

Nice to have

• 7–8+ years of experience in developer experience, release engineering, or platform engineering.
• Deep, hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proven track record of improving release safety and reliability using data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated AI fluency in using AI tools effectively in design and coding workflows.
