Sr. Platform Engineer I (AWS): Maintaining and optimizing high-availability platform services and infrastructure for digital communications risk management with an accent on Kubernetes administration, GitOps workflows, and AWS scalability. Focus on reducing MTTR, automating recovery mechanisms, and implementing comprehensive infrastructure-as-code coverage.
Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, USA). Must be US-based for oncall coverage.
Salary: $115,000 - $165,000 a year

What you will do
- Maintain 99.9% uptime for critical platform services and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) for platform incidents.
- Achieve 100% infrastructure-as-code coverage for new deployments using Terraform.
- Implement GitOps workflows for all production environments using ArgoCD or Flux.
- Develop and maintain self-service capabilities for common provisioning tasks to support customer onboarding on the Fabric platform.
- Establish and manage reliable US-timezone oncall coverage and follow-the-sun support models.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience managing production AWS environments at scale.
- Proven track record of Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be based in the US to provide oncall coverage.
