Salary: $139,900 – $274,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical strategy and architecture for conversion measurement and attribution.
• Design and drive adoption of cross-service data contracts and patterns for high-volume globally distributed traffic.
• Develop critical components for the near real-time conversion and attribution pipeline.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and operational standards to elevate observability and reduce MTTR.
• Mentor and grow engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
• Partner with privacy and compliance teams to ensure responsible telemetry data handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
• Experience leading architecture and delivering production systems across multiple services.
• Deep expertise in streaming, near real-time processing, and reliability patterns (SLOs, backpressure, idempotency).
• Experience building high-throughput distributed systems and data platforms.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8-12+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with ads measurement, conversion tracking, or attribution systems.
• Track record of operational leadership for tier-0/tier-1 services, including incident command.
