What you will do

• Develop and maintain custom Linux images for embedded platforms, optimizing performance and security.
• Design and implement the BSP layer to ensure efficiency across different hardware configurations.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with security research teams to bypass security mechanisms of modern smartphones.
• Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security threats and technologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in low-level development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency in creating custom Linux images and BSP using Buildroot, Yocto, or custom build systems.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals and security/cryptography (block ciphers, PKI, hashes, MACs, code signing).
• Experience with RTOS/bare-metal and communication protocols like SPI and I2C.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Rust and/or Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices.
• Knowledge of secure boot mechanisms and USB communication.
• Experience with FPGA Design and Development.
