hirify.global is building a seamless Connected Restaurant Management System embedding sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and data insights for hospitality venues across the Netherlands, UK, and more.

What you will do

• Learn the codebase and contribute to backend features with guidance from senior engineers
• Handle well-scoped tasks like fixing bugs, writing endpoints, and improving services, gradually taking on larger work
• Pair with teammates on code reviews to learn standards and best practices
• Write clean, testable code and master version control and deployment workflows
• Join merchant visits to understand real-world restaurant usage of hirify.global

Requirements

• Recently completed (or soon-to-be) BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field
• Deep understanding of at least one backend language (e.g., Kotlin, Java, Go, Python)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), REST APIs, and basic system design
• Experience building projects via coursework, personal projects, open source, or internships
• Curiosity-driven mindset with strong communication skills and comfort working in English
