Lead QA (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Lead QA (Gamedev): Leading the QA strategy and processes for Angry Birds Match with an accent on player experience, external partner management, and quality vision. Focus on designing test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing AI-assisted QA workflows.

Location: Hybrid (Finland: Helsinki Metropolitan Area/Espoo). Two days at the office per week required.

What you will do

• Design and lead the QA strategy and processes for Angry Birds Match from design stages through live operations.
• Collaborate with in-house designers, developers, and artists while managing external testing partners.
• Champion AI-assisted QA workflows in collaboration with SDETs to increase testing efficiency.
• Perform hands-on bug identification, review, verification, and creation of new test cases.
• Validate LiveOps events, game content, and configurations before they go live.
• Provide input on QA resourcing and budgeting and assist in game submission and release activities.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Lead QA or in a similar role on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team alignment.
• Experience setting up collaboration models and resource planning with external QA vendors.
• Working understanding of the mobile games or services space with high attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
• CV must be submitted in English.

• Prior experience with Unity.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
