Senior Lead Product Designer (D2C)

Senior Lead Product Designer (D2C): Bring simplicity and delight to D2C products through continuous discovery, defined requirements, validation with real users, and implementation support with an accent on reducing friction, improving conversion, repeat purchase, and customer satisfaction. Focus on reimagining workflows, developing concepts, crafting new interactions and components, experimenting, testing, and refining products while measuring success in quantifiable terms.

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid). Availability to go to the client's office in Mexico City approximately twice per month (may vary, potentially up to once per week).

What you will do

• Work with team, product manager, BA, business stakeholders, and developers to define product requirements.
• Create wireframes, user flows, sitemaps, specifications, and other UX design deliverables.
• Design intuitive interfaces through prototypes.
• Lead the design team: own quality of deliverables, shape product strategy, define features and flows, influence roadmap, manage client relationships from product design perspective.

Requirements

• Advanced English and Fluent in Spanish.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years as lead designer guiding clients, projects, and people.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence in solving, designing, and shipping successful digital products; strong Design best practices, Design Systems, and documentation; thoughtful UX strategy through cross-functional collaboration; research, testing, strategic planning, ideation.
• Strong problem-solving in complex challenges; excellent communicator and collaborator balancing engineering, customer, product, and user needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Art Direction, or design-focused field.
• Mastery of Figma for design systems, interactions, responsive design; strong understanding of AI prototyping (Figma Make and trending tools).
• Open to process changes with AI agents.

Nice to have

• Visual design, interface design, information design, storytelling, design presentation, facilitation.
• Working with qualitative/quantitative data; balancing feedback with business needs.
• Ecommerce industry experience; mobile app (iOS/Android) and web design.
• Proactive self-starter thriving in ambiguity.
