Senior Data Engineer (ETL): Designing and building robust ETL pipelines for enabling data sharing across multiple applications in a distributed enterprise environment with an accent on data modeling, relational storage, and event-driven architectures. Focus on SQL Server optimization, Apache Kafka integration, API data flows, and scalable data architecture.

Location: Elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2-3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1100 - 1400 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design and implement ETL pipelines for data integration across enterprise systems
• Build data modeling and structured solutions using relational databases
• Develop SQL database programming and optimize SQL Server performance
• Integrate Apache Kafka for event-driven data architectures
• Work with APIs to ensure efficient data flow and consistency
• Collaborate with teams to create scalable, maintainable data architecture

Requirements

• Min. 4 years experience in data engineering and implementing data pipelines
• Experience with data modeling and designing structured data solutions
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially SQL Server
• Proficiency in SQL and database programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL or similar)
• Hands-on with building ETL pipelines and data processing workflows
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Understanding of APIs, data architecture, and multi-technology environments
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Experience with DB2
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake
• Work with object storage such as Amazon S3
• Knowledge of modern data ecosystems and integration patterns
