What you will do

• Architect, develop, and manage the data platform supporting data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and accessibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data needs
• Formulate and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the data platform
• Build tools enabling internal customers to find, access, and investigate data for their use cases

Requirements

• 2+ years in data engineering, preferably in fast-paced tech
• Strong data concepts at scale: ingestion, transformation, modeling
• Software engineering best practices for data pipelines
• Data governance: catalogs, IAM, metadata, discovery
• Python, SQL, HCL (Terraform); GCP data services experience
• BI tools integration; customer-centric product thinking
• Very good English (spoken/written); German a plus

Nice to have

• IoT, streaming data (GCP Dataflow, Apache Beam, Flink)
• Scale-up environment experience
• Interest in climate tech
