What you will do

• Partner with Product Manager to lead squads through sprints, product discovery, and develop solutions to prioritized problems.
• Influence business using modern product approaches like rapid prototyping and working out loud.
• Advocate for Enterprise Data Engineering capabilities and educate stakeholders.
• Drive technical standards, processes governance, data standards, and quality change management.
• Partner on application security and act as escalation point for data engineering challenges.
• Contribute to Data Engineering community and pursue learning and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years engineering enterprise-scale data solutions, cloud experience (Databricks, Azure, GCP) preferred.
• 2+ years in technical leadership, coaching, or development of colleagues.
• Travel: 0-10%.

Nice to have

• Proven ability to lead complex data projects.
• Expertise in data pipelines, integration, analytics, modern data architectures (lakehouse, APIs, data contracts, FAIR principles).
• Familiarity with ML workflows, data quality, governance, infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience in complex global landscapes and as a coach/mentor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
