Carded Radiographers - Level II RT Level I RT and RT Assistant

TL;DR

Carded Radiographers (Level II/I RT, RT Assistant): Perform radiographic NDT examinations and support inspections in industrial settings with an accent on radiation safety, equipment setup, and compliance with codes and standards. Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA office. Must be local or willing to relocate. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export controls.

Salary: $25.00 - $34.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Prepare components for inspections, clean and organize equipment, and document on-job training as an RT Assistant.
• Perform RT examinations using NDT equipment in accordance with procedures, codes, and standards as Level I/II Radiographer.
• Set up radiographic testing equipment and process DR/CR X-ray images.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope, priorities, and report results.
• Guide trainees, work independently or in teams, and participate in safety programs.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR.
• IRRSP/State safety card and 40-hour Radiation Safety Course completed.
• High School Diploma/GED; math, print reading, and computer skills for data entry/reporting.
• For Level I/II: Documented education, training, experience in RT; knowledge of industrial processes.
• Experience with DR/CR X-ray imaging; valid driver’s license, clean record, pass drug screen.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, heights, around radiation/hazards; lift 100 lbs; shifts up to 12 hours/7 days.

Nice to have

• Prior NDT classroom training or OJT for Assistants.
• Additional NDT certifications.
