What you will do

• Lead the commissioning and routine operations of current and upcoming satellites across all mission phases.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers on satellite operations topics.
• Coordinate with internal spacecraft, payload, ground segment, and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, flight procedures, and satellite simulators.
• Perform performance analysis and lead anomaly investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support the definition of operational concepts and participate in on-call support rotations.

Requirements

• University degree in aerospace engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience in spacecraft operations engineering, particularly with GEO satellites.
• Hands-on experience with mission control systems and dynamic satellite simulators.
• Knowledge of On-Board Control Procedures (OBCPs) and Packet Utilization Standard (PUS).
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Helsinki, Finland.
