What you will do

• Design and build AI agents using OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and RAG architectures, iterating from MVP to production based on feedback.
• Enhance course recommendation engine via database integration and data pipeline improvements.
• Instrument AI flows with LangFuse for monitoring, prompt evaluation, and debugging.
• Validate stakeholder datasets for reliability and GDPR compliance, communicating limitations.
• Prototype lightweight frontends using AI-assisted tools to deliver solutions to users.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on Azure with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and academic stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years in backend/full-stack development focused on production AI/ML systems with Python.
• Proven experience building AI agents and RAG using OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
• Experience with LangFuse or similar for LLM monitoring and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on Azure deployment (Azure OpenAI, App Services), CI/CD, Terraform.
• Ability to analyze datasets, forecast costs, understand GDPR/data privacy.
• Operate as solo technical lead, explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
