What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed by Medical Director or Clinic Physician.
• Evaluate and assess patients for treatment appropriateness.
• Observe patients post-administration and follow physician orders.
• Collect urine specimens, maintain inventories, and receive medication shipments per DEA procedures.
• Train new nurses, participate in treatment team meetings, and ensure accreditation standards.
• Monitor physicals, lab work, and report discrepancies.

Requirements

• Licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Accurate data entry and basic computing knowledge.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• Knowledge of medical equipment like dosing tools, centrifuge, test strips.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction.
• Phlebotomist certification.
