What you will do

• Monitor freezers, respond to alarms, and record temperatures per SOPs.
• Receive, unpack, log, and store biological samples at appropriate temperatures.
• Manage inventory by scanning samples into BSI system, correcting discrepancies, and aliquoting specimens aseptically.
• Retrieve samples for shipment, perform QC, update records, and ship via courier following IATA regulations.
• Handle supplies inventory, label vials/boxes, and perform dry shipper QC.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent + 2 years general work experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and teamwork.
• Basic Excel proficiency.
• Physical ability: lift 31-50 lbs (up to 50 lbs overhead with help), stand/walk prolonged periods, work in cold freezers (-20°C to -196°C)
• Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.

Nice to have

• 1 year relevant lab experience.
• Basic laboratory skills and aseptic technique training.
