Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and deliver scalable application components and services for the Healthcare Informatics platform.
• Drive full-lifecycle product development from inception through delivery to customers.
• Support cloud-native architecture using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, serverless technologies, and modern development practices.
• Contribute to inner-source and open-source initiatives and strengthen the developer community.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, processes, tools, and technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and senior stakeholders while presenting ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience building cloud services with AWS and cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience with web front ends using React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with API design, SQL, databases, multiple programming languages, secure coding, automated testing, and Agile Scrum.
• Experience using AI and coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, as well as modernizing architectures through monolith decomposition, scalability, resilience, observability, and security.
