Location: Bucharest, Romania. Availability to work flexibly from the office and remotely; willingness to travel up to 20% is required.

What you will do

• Design multi-layer PCBs using Mentor Graphics, focusing on high-speed interfaces including Video, Ethernet, LPDDR, and USB.
• Perform signal and power integrity simulations to validate layout designs.
• Manage the end-to-end PCB release process, including production files and coordination with manufacturers.
• Develop and verify analog and digital functional blocks such as power supplies and MCU/SoC units.
• Create detailed technical documentation, schematic entries, and measurement reports.
• Conduct technical measurements (EMC, Thermal, functional) at customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in complex multi-layer PCB design and simulation.
• Strong knowledge of PCB layer stack, routing, and production data generation.
• Expertise in hardware technology specifically within the automotive domain.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bucharest office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mentor Graphics ECAD and HFSS simulation tools.
• 3+ years of experience in HW development of standalone analog/digital functional units.
• Deep knowledge of automotive EMC requirements.
• Familiarity with interfaces such as PCIe, UART, I2C, I2S, and SPI.
