Salary: $111,000 to $167,000

What you will do

• Lead a small team of engineering technicians, ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance in lab spaces.
• Provide design, reliability, and technical feedback to R&D teams.
• Update technical product documentation and create test methods and procedures.
• Monitor safe working conditions, collaborate with EHS for improvements, and maintain equipment calibration.
• Perform hands-on prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation using specialized tools.
• Assist in design, construction, and testing of prototype parts and equipment.

Requirements

• Prior experience leading a team.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical testing/prototyping equipment (Instron or similar, oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, CNC mill/lathe, hand tools, soldering irons).
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail for generating assembly and test procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to prioritize lab tasks based on business needs.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in medical devices or regulated industries.
• Experience with electric motor or pneumatic blower design.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
