Principal Reliability Engineer

Salary: $124,800 - $187,200 USD

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and DOE constructs.
• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for required product reliability levels.
• Complete risk analyses for new designs and processes, compile performance reports, and investigate variables affecting products.
• Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and develop programs to achieve company and regulatory objectives.
• Develop mathematical models to identify high-failure risks and propose design or formulation changes for improved reliability.
• Determine units requiring environmental testing and specify sample sizes for statistically valid data.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with minimum 7 years relevant experience, or Master's with 5 years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire (sponsorship for Principal-level).
• Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including independent mobility and computer interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with neurovascular or vascular devices.
• Experience with end-to-end design control.
• Experience with Class III medical devices.
