Senior Platform Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Platform Engineer: Building and operating scalable infrastructure platform for apps, website, and API with an accent on availability, reliability, performance, security, and developer experience. What you will do

• Ensure production systems are available, scalable, performant, and reliable for external and internal users, advocating SRE principles.
• Drive security initiatives, best practices, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies for infrastructure.
• Build observability systems for metrics, logging, tracing, debugging, alerting, and incident response.
• Provide self-serve infrastructure and tooling to enable efficient developer workflows and best practices.
• Design and operate shared infrastructure platforms used by other engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production systems at scale, focusing on reliability, scalability, performance
• Deep AWS experience including networking (VPCs, routing, load balancing, DNS), secure/resilient systems, cost efficiency
• Hands-on Kubernetes: designing, operating, scaling clusters in production
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (reusable modules), Helm for configuration/packaging
• GitOps, Argo CD, GitLab CI for modern deployments
• Observability (metrics, logging, tracing; Datadog/Sentry plus), incident management (PagerDuty)
• Living in the Netherlands
