Fullstack Engineer - People Products (React/Go)

What you will do

• Ship the People platform MVP by December 2026 using React for the frontend and Go for the backend.
• Migrate key Workday modules into an internal application covering compensation cycles, performance reviews, and daily HR workflows for more than 1,700 hirify.globalers.
• Co-define the product vision and roadmap through user discovery with People teams, specification reviews, and feedback-driven iteration.
• Design architecture with GDPR, access controls, and data residency requirements from the start.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and Notion AI in daily delivery and build AI-enabled features where they provide practical value.
• Document the platform, run training sessions, and establish governance for long-term ownership by the People team.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering experience with a backend focus and production applications delivered end to end.
• Familiarity with React and Go; exact stack matching is not required.
• Daily experience using AI tools for code generation, testing, and architecture support.
• Experience designing for GDPR, access control, data residency, and other security requirements when handling sensitive data.
• Product engineering experience, including user discovery, specification challenge, and prioritization.
• Ability to deliver complex, ambiguous projects autonomously with proactive communication and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS or People tools such as Workday, ATS, or payroll systems.
• Experience building internal tooling for large organizations.
