TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (AI .Net): Building scalable backend systems and APIs using the .NET ecosystem with an accent on architecture decisions and engineering excellence. What you will do
- Lead the implementation of large features and multi-sprint projects using C# and .NET.
- Design and maintain performant, secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Translate complex problems and acceptance criteria into testable backend solutions.
- Influence engineering practices to improve overall system quality and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with product and QA stakeholders to validate architectural approaches via prototypes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in C#, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Entity Framework Core.
- Proven track record of designing and building RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL API patterns.
