What you will do

• Own the end-to-end AI Factory program lifecycle to rewrite legacy applications into modern SaaS platforms.
• Recruit, lead, and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team and author the engagement playbook.
• Oversee cloud operations, including multi-cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, and security.
• Translate technical progress into business value and ROI for OpCo CEOs and Banyan leadership.
• Implement the MACROSS framework to ensure maintainability, reliability, and scalability across the portfolio.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in technical delivery and program management.
• Must currently be hands-on, writing production code and architecting cloud-native solutions.
• Deep experience with re-platforming, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Fluency in AI-assisted SDLC tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
• Proven track record of executive communication and presenting to C-level stakeholders.
• Must be based in the US (preferred) and able to overlap 4+ hours with US Eastern time.

Nice to have

• Experience in forward-deployed engineering, professional services, or embedded consulting.
• Background in private equity portfolio operations or vertical-market software.
• Knowledge of strangler-fig patterns and monolith-to-microservices transformations.
• Agile coaching or program management certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMP).
