What you will do

• Design and build distributed backend systems for AI-driven detection, monitoring, and response workflows.
• Develop scalable pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing of large volumes of video, audio, and sensor data.
• Architect event-driven systems that trigger automated alerts, verification, and escalation.
• Build infrastructure to enable the production deployment of large video and audio AI models.
• Optimize systems for low latency and high availability across cloud and edge environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end intelligent safety and automation systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable APIs.
• Proven track record of building large-scale, data-intensive or AI-powered systems.
• Proficiency in Go or Python and experience with modern cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with databases and streaming systems such as Kafka, Temporal, and Postgres.
• Must be based in or eligible to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is available).
