What you will do

• Design and ship next-generation ranking and ML backend systems for app and game discovery across hirify.global surfaces.
• Partner with ML, Data Science, and product teams to define signals, APIs, and feedback loops for model iteration.
• Productionize new retrieval, ranking, and experimentation approaches to unlock new platform experiences.
• Implement and champion reliability, observability, and experimentation best practices for ranking systems.
• Write efficient, scalable code using a stack including Go, Python, Baseplate, and GraphQL.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical discussions to shape the long-term personalization strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems or data-intensive ML-driven systems.
• Proven track record of shipping product features that directly move core engagement metrics.
• Experience designing ML tooling and platforms, including deployment, rollout, and monitoring frameworks.
• Expertise in implementing high-throughput ranking systems such as recommendations, search, or feeds.
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
