What you will do

• Automate ML pipelines using orchestration frameworks such as Airflow and Metaflow.
• Stratify datasets using auto-generated and manually labeled signals to improve information content and deduplicate data.
• Scale and optimize metrics dashboards and underlying datastores to handle growing test volumes cost-effectively.
• Develop advanced tooling for dataset curation, mining, evaluation, and labeling, including the integration of LLMs.
• Contribute to the development of scalable AI infrastructure for continuous learning and deployment across the vehicle fleet.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of practical experience working with Machine Learning teams.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven ability to build scalable ELT pipelines and data models using SQL and modern data lakes.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, and system design.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area (Mountain View, CA).
