What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of software projects.
• Contribute to the design of new features and facilitate engineering discussions.
• Review peer code and advocate for standard methodologies to raise quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical leader within the organization.
• Collaborate in a multi-functional team to build core ZHL infrastructure and APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with ES6, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and Go for building APIs and services.
• Experience with various persistence strategies, including relational and non-relational databases.
• Proven track record as a technical leader with impact beyond the immediate team.
• Must be based in the USA (eligible to work in any of the 50 states).

Nice to have

• Experience scaling relational databases, such as Aurora Postgres.
• Experience building internal platforms at scale.
• Knowledge of API design (GraphQL or REST) and distributed systems.
• Experience in Mortgage or Regulated Fintech domains.
