What you will do

• Identify and source potential investment targets by analyzing industry trends and competitive strengths.
• Develop complex financial models, valuations, and analyses to inform transaction decisions and due diligence.
• Manage corporate reporting and prepare materials for the Investment Committee and executive leadership.
• Support the CCDO in portfolio company oversight as a Board Member or Observer, evaluating management forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, HR, and Engineering to achieve investment objectives.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of contacts, companies, and meeting notes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or equity research.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.
• Knowledge of investment processes, deal structuring, portfolio management, and due diligence.
• Strong relationship-building skills with investment banks and M&A advisory firms.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a background check
