Python Engineer (Cloud): Building and scaling backend and frontend solutions for a Cloud Cost Control platform with an accent on RESTful APIs, cloud data integrations, performance, security, and observability. Focus on designing microservices, automating infrastructure with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, and delivering reliable production systems.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do
- Build and maintain business-critical applications and platform capabilities for the Cloud Cost Control platform.
- Develop end-to-end backend and frontend solutions, including RESTful APIs and data integrations with PostgreSQL and Databricks.
- Deliver scalable and reliable features that improve system performance and user experience.
- Support infrastructure automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and production observability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and new capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Python and RESTful API design.
- Experience integrating third-party and cloud APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, testing, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Frontend and backend development experience, particularly with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Fluent English and ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Sofia, Bulgaria.
