What you will do

• Drive platform development by making architecture decisions for quality applications and products
• Lead a team of engineers by setting standards, best practices, and performing code reviews
• Architect and develop scalable web applications, including GraphQL APIs and user-facing apps
• Advance platform architecture with reusable, test-driven code to solve business problems at scale
• Interact with stakeholders and product team as technical lead to develop features, analyze feasibility, and provide estimates
• Research and learn new technologies for current and future products

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise experience as a web developer
• 2+ years with ReactJS and NodeJS for server-side applications
• Strong skills in Javascript, ES6, TypeScript, NodeJS, Git
• Experience building GraphQL or REST APIs (GraphQL preferred)
• Excellent understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Experience with TDD, testing best practices, and object-oriented design (DRY, SOLID, GoF, DDD)
• Proficiency in fullstack development and mentoring junior developers/leading teams
• Github profile with accurate information

Nice to have

• Experience with Scrum/Agile/Kanban
• Vue or Angular (Vue preferred)
• Ruby
• Mobile development tools (Ionic, Cordova, Capacitor, React Native, Android SDK)
• CSS-in-JS techniques
• Hasura or Postgraphile
