What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed and assess patients for treatment appropriateness.
• Observe patients post-administration and follow all physician orders.
• Collect urine specimens, maintain inventories, and receive medication shipments per DEA procedures.
• Coordinate dose packages, train new nurses, and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Monitor physicals, lab work, and ensure accreditation standards are met.
• Report discrepancies and implement quality health standards.

Requirements

• Licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, and breathalyzers.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction.
• Phlebotomist certification.
