Global publisher of Science, Technology, and Medical (STM) Journals, supporting content acquisition and development across Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Health & Medical Sciences.
What you will do
- Accurately administer payments of editorial fees and royalties to societies, editors, and contributors, ensuring timely processing and contractual compliance.
- Manage editorial contracts using the Contract Management System, including creation, signing, filing, and advising on queries.
- Create and monitor annual Financial Arrangements and budgets in collaboration with publishers, highlighting deviations and inconsistencies.
- Investigate and resolve payment process issues with finance teams and contribute to process improvements and system development.
- Maintain efficient filing systems and act as a champion for internal systems, participating in projects and testing.
Requirements
- College degree level.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Strong eye for detail, organizational skills, and financial acumen.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written; customer-oriented.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Fluent in English (Dutch or French a plus).
- Ability to quickly learn ’s databases and internal systems; team player.
