Electrical Systems Engineer with ACTIVE Secret security clearance (Defense): Lead a small multidisciplinary team in the development, certification, and delivery of custom automated test equipment for re-entry vehicle assets critical to national strategic deterrence with an accent on complex system designs and representation across organizations. Focus on collaborating across disciplines to define and lead design, analysis, and test activities within cost and schedule commitments in a dynamic environment.

Onsite full time in King of Prussia (Valley Forge), PA 19406 (no relocation package, US Citizenship REQUIRED, Active Secret clearance required, Top Secret preferred, must be able and willing to maintain Top Secret).

$130.00 Hourly NO OT (no health benefits/no PTO while on contract - an hour worked is an hour paid).

What you will do

• Lead a small multidisciplinary team as technical leader and Responsible Systems Engineer for custom automated test equipment development, certification, and delivery.
• Serve as technical advocate for complex system designs, representing them across programmatic, functional, and customer organizations.
• Collaborate across technical and programmatic disciplines to define and lead design, analysis, and test activities within cost and schedule.
• Work onsite full time in King of Prussia, PA with flexibility for personal commitments.

Requirements

• DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
• Experience with product lifecycle design, integration, and test of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with key product lifecycle milestones: System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field + 10 years experience, or Master's + 6 years
• Cable Design, Communication Skills, Strong Leadership Skills, Hardware Integration, Requirements Development, Systems Analysis & Design Skills

Nice to have

• Excellent leadership and communication skills in dynamic new development environments
• Circuit Design, Test Equipment Design, FMEA, Earned Value Analysis, Failure Analysis, Software design principles
• Experience collaborating with military customers, estimating/schedule development, requirements writing/verification, trade studies, architecture definition, environmental testing, hardware/software integration
• Familiarity with missile/satellite hardware or test hardware, failure investigation, worst case analysis
