What you will do

• Own delivery of trajectory generation and controls features from design to integration for safe, comfortable autonomous driving.
• Contribute to team roadmaps and ensure timely feature delivery.
• Collaborate with systems engineers for safe, well-tested products.
• Write modern C++ and Python code with unit testing, simulation, and log analysis.
• Work with autonomy teams on motion planning, constraint generation, prediction, and world fusion.
• Participate in design reviews and align stakeholders through presentations.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related; MS/PhD preferred
• 5+ years software engineering experience
• Experience with motion planning/control systems for real-world applications (large vehicles a plus)
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, system identification, real-time control algorithms
• Experience with optimal control/dynamic optimization, model predictive control, trajectory generation
• Fluent in modern C++; experience with Python
• U.S. person status/citizenship may be required due to national security and export controls
