What you will do

• Design and evolve reusable, generic test-program libraries for deployment at customer sites.
• Develop production-quality software primarily in C# using Visual Studio, with C++ as needed, to enhance test automation and scalability.
• Build and maintain unit tests, validation frameworks, and CI/CD processes for reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with test, product, and hardware teams to align software with tester and device requirements.
• Optimize hirify.global IG-XL test-program components for performance and usability.
• Troubleshoot issues across software and test flows, and document designs and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (semiconductor test or automation preferred).
• Strong proficiency in C# and building applications/tools in Visual Studio.
• Experience with unit testing, test automation principles, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C++ or Java.
• Experience with Windows development (Win32 API, DLLs).
• Familiarity with semiconductor test software and hirify.global IG-XL.
• Strong object-oriented design for reusable libraries/APIs.
• Experience improving code quality via refactoring and automation.
• CI/CD tools in multi-developer environments and Agile methodologies.
• Comfort working directly with customers for feedback and iteration.
